1. Photo and Video Call Filters
Now photos and video call filters have arrived. Different filters can be applied while making video calls, and the background changes have come. Not only video calls, you can also change different filters, colors, and backgrounds in photos.
2. Custom Contact List
I am going to tell you about the contact book; it is a time-saving feature. Now the custom contact list has come. If you see, basically, if you go to the front page, then you will see the list below the search bar at the top, but earlier it used to be a pre-made list. There used to be separate lists like All, Unread, and Favorites. Now you will be able to create a custom list. It means when you go to the office, you can make a list of your office colleagues, or you can make a list of your family. Whatever contacts you have chosen, you will see those contacts in the list, and not only that, you will also be able to delete them. You will be able to delete those too, which were there in the default list earlier. It is a very good feature.
3. Meta AI Integration
AI has now arrived on WhatsApp. It had arrived earlier, but now new features have been added. Now this AI integration of Meta has come directly in the search bar itself. Now you will be able to create images; you will be able to create whichever image you want, not only create images; if you want to animate it a bit, make it move, or make a GIF, you will be able to do all these things. Meta AI has become very interactive now.
4. Inbuilt Contact Book
The feature that has come up in the update right now is the inbuilt contact book. Now, to send a message to any unknown number that is not in your contact list, it is a lot of trouble that you want to message; first, you have to save that number. After that, you were able to message, but now in the search bar, the number in which you have to message will be typed, and there will be the option to chat below, and then you will be able to message it that that is going to save it a lot of time.
5. Transcribe Voice Message
This is also a very important feature; now you will be able to transcribe in the text. Now it supports only 5 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi. Someone has sent you a voice message in Hindi; there is no need to listen to you, yet you can transcribe it in text. This feature is currently rolling out.
6. Message Draft
What we often do is that when we reply to someone, we have typed some message in the reply but have not sent it. We have typed it, but many times it slips from our mind that we had to reply; we had typed the message, but in your chats, you will see the draft separately, which you see on the WhatsApp web; you will get the same experience on your mobile so that you can manage your chats properly.
7. Redesigned Typing Indicator
Whenever you chat with someone, if the person you are chatting with is typing something, it appears below the profile name above. Now in your chat itself, you will see three dots moving, and you will know that the other person is typing something, and if you also type something, the other person will also know.
8. Camera Zoom Control
Zoom control has now come in the camera; they could have been jumps before, but now pressing the shutter button and pressing the finger down, you will be able to zoom in on the selfie video; you will also have more features in the selfie video. Will not do but have a good feature.
9. New Status Updates
Many interesting updates have come in the status updates. Earlier there were small icons open, but now there are status shows in the rectangular shape. Now when you share with your friends, they will also be able to share it; now you will also like the status.
10. React with Emojis
This feature had come a long time ago; you were able to react to any message with emoji, but there was a limit to 5-6 default emojis, while you were able to use it, but now a plus icon has come. You will be able to use all emojis.
